DA: Woman dies in single-car crash in Lowell, 3 others hospitalized

LOWELL, Mass. — A woman in her 30s has died following a single-car crash in Lowell, according to a statement from the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office.

The victim has not been identified. Officials say that she was one of four people in the car when it crashed into a pole and caught fire. The other three occupants have serious injuries and have been transported to a local hospital.

That crash happened in the area of Bunker Hill Avenue and Lakeview Avenue in the city around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

Lowell Police and the Middlesex County DA’s Office are investigating the crash.
