HULL, Mass. — The U.S. Coast Guard in Hull was searching for a possible woman who allegedly walked into the water off Nantasket Beach in Hull.
The Boston Coast Guard told Boston 25 News they were alerted by a Good Samaritan at 9:10 p.m. Monday after the individual allegedly saw a woman walk right into the water at Nantasket Beach before they lost sight of her.
Authorities confirmed on Twitter that the search has seen been suspended, pending further information. The search took a total of 10 hours and spanned 40 square miles.

Authorities were searching overnight in a single vessel but confirmed that they sent out more boats at sunrise Tuesday. The Coast Guard wasn’t able to confirm the identity of the woman.
