BOSTON — It’s summer but the Celtics and Bruins have been doing anything but relaxing so far. Both TD Garden residents have been active at the start of each league’s respective free agency periods.
Although it’s likely the Celtics’ biggest acquisition of the summer has already received his new jersey and made his hellos, Boston still made some moves once NBA free agency opened on Friday night.

Despite having to operate on a budget, the Bruins had a busy Saturday, arranging a reunion with an old friend and welcoming a few new faces.
