SALEM, N.H. — Family, friends, and co-workers are rallying around a Salem, N.H. man facing a battle with leukemia.
And the effort to help him could benefit others facing similar fights.
Tim is a patient, currently receiving care at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He needs an urgent blood stem cell transplant.
Corriveau’s fight against leukemia is the same one faced by his mother 50 years ago. He was diagnosed on the anniversary of her death.
On Sunday, February 13th, there is a “Be the Match” event in Salem, N.H. Visitors will be swabbed in an effort to find a match to help in his treatments.
The event will be held at the American Legion at 38 Millville Street, in Salem, N.H.
The registration and swab event runs from 11 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
