Large water main break floods several roads in Worcester

WORCESTER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) - A large water main break has left parts of Worcester under water.

After 4 a.m. water was seen water gushing through Westminster and North Hampton streets. The water even made it as far as Route 290 where it is being blamed for at least one car accident.

Video also shows an apparent sinkhole that opened up on Westminster Street.

There have not been any reported evacuations or reports of damage. The water was shut off around 5 a.m. People who live in the area will have water service impacted for at least several hours.
