Jane Richard sends Martin's message to Paris

(MyFoxBoston.com) -- While many around the world are mourning the loss of life due to the Paris terrorist attack, many in New England are thinking back to the Boston Marathon Bombings.

One marathon survivor decided to take the opportunity to send a message to Paris.

Jane Richard is the sister of Martin Richard, killed in the bombings. Jane herself lost a leg and knows firsthand what it's like to live through a terrorist attack.

Inspired by a well-known photo of her brother, where he's holding a sign that says "No more hurting people, peace," Jane decided to make her own version, for Paris.

The Martin Richard Foundation's Facebook page shared a photo of the sign on its Facebook page and said "To Paris. With love, from Jane. ?#‎NoMoreHurtingPeoplePeace?."
