WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — Massachusetts State Police said they were continuing to investigate after a taxi driver said his window was shattered after a verbal confrontation with another driver on the Mass Pike.
The incident was reported around 6:30 p.m. Thursday just west of the Ted Williams Tunnel.
The taxi driver admitted he got into the verbal confrontation with another driver and said that’s when his window was shattered.
He described the vehicle and driver when he tracked down state police, and they tracked the other driver down on Route 9 in Westborough.
That unidentified man was briefly detained but was not arrested.
State police said the driver does have a license to carry a firearm, but no weapon was located in the vehicle.
No other information was released.
