Hudson Police searching for 26-year-old suspect in quadruple stabbing

HUDSON, Mass. — Police in Hudson are searching for a wanted man who is the alleged suspect in a quadruple stabbing. Hudson law enforcement issued an arrest warrant for Diony Cimini-Freitas, 26, charging him with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury.

The charges stem from an alleged Saturday night stabbing in the town at Old Schoolhouse Pub on School Street. Just before midnight, police responded to a call at the bar, where they located four people suffering from stab wounds.

All four of the victims were transported to local hospitals with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, per police.

Three of the victims were found inside the bar while the fourth was located outside. Two of the victims were stabbed in the abdomen, while one was stabbed in the arm and the other in the leg.

Police say that the stabbing occurred during an altercation between, “a large group of individuals.” The suspect was identified during law enforcement’s investigation and police say Cimini-Freitas and the victims knew each other.
