CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — A cyclist was rushed to the hospital after being hit by a car who then fled the scene Friday night, police say.
The incident happened along the intersection of Broadway and Columbia streets in Cambridge at around 11:15 p.m.
Witnesses at the scene were able to give police a detailed description of the vehicle, which was then found less than 20 minutes after the incident.

The driver, a Cambridge resident, was summoned to Cambridge District Court for leaving the scene of an accident with personal injury.
The cyclist was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
