BOSTON — Our Coffee with Candidates series continues with a shift to the Democratic Primary in the Massachusetts Senate race.

Boston 25 News anchor Kerry Kavanaugh recently sat down with incumbent Senator Ed Markey (D-Massachusetts) at Battlegrounds Coffee Company in Haverhill. Senator Markey is facing an unexpected challenge from Mass. Congressman Joe Kennedy III. But the Senator says he’s not ready to pass the baton just yet.

Markey talks about how he earned money through law school driving an ice cream truck. And the legislative accomplishment he’s proudest of, which was inspired by his mother.
