Bridgewater family asking for help after dog goes missing from yard

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- One minute he was in the yard, and the next minute he was gone.

A Bridgewater family is asking for anyone who has seen their  3-year-old Golden Retriever to alert animal control, or just bring him back to their home, no questions asked.

Last Tuesday, Sebastian went missing from the Dye family's Dickens Street home, and they now believe  someone has taken him in.

Although Sebastian is not specifically a therapy dog, one family member, who is battling a serious illness, said having Sebastian around is calming and therapeutic.

Anyone who has information about where Sebastian is should call Janet Dye at 508-697-9663, or Bridgewater Animal Control Officer Lisa McKay at 508-659-1290.
