Body found in Hyannis identified, homicide investigation underway

The district attorney's office has identified the body found on the side of the road in Hyannis.

Early Saturday morning, Barnstable Police were notified of a body on the side of the road on General Patton Drive.

EMTs arrived and took the person to Cape Cod Hospital and was pronounced dead.

The body has been identified at Jermaine Taylor of East Falmouth, 41 years old.

The matter is being investigated as a homicide by Barnstable Police and Massachusetts State Police detectives.
