CANTON, Mass. — A 5-year-old was taken to the hospital after being struck on a scooter by a car in Canton, according to the Canton Police Department.
The department said they responded to the scene after a call came in just before 3:30 p.m.
When first responders arrived on scene near the Walgreens on Bolivar Street, they found a 5-year-old that had been struck.

The child was taken to Norwood Hospital with minor injuries with his mother after the incident, and police are still investigating.
