A driver was taken to the hospital after needing the Jaws of Life to be taken out of a vehicle after driving into a home in Lancaster.

Police received a call around 5:18 a.m. on Sunday for a report of a car that went into a Main Street home.

Firefighters and emergency crews on scene found that the car had crashed into the house after going across the home's yard and into a ground floor apartment.
