WORCESTER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Drugs along with over $30,000 in cash were seized in a Worcester raid Wednesday resulting in two arrests.
Jose H. Perez, 33, and Miguel Angel Rivera-Garcia, 30, both of Worcester, were each charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of heroin with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate the controlled substances act. More than 80 grams of cocaine, 15 grams of heroin packaged for distribution, items related to drug distribution and $32,000 cash were seized in the raid.
The raid came after surveillance of an apartment was set up Wednesday morning. Rivera-Garcia was stopped and arrested after driving away from the apartment, but Perez was arrested inside.
Both men were arraigned Thursday and each had bail set at $20,000 cash. The cases were continued to Tuesday.
