A 3-year-old boy has been found safe and his father is in custody after an alleged kidnapping Wednesday morning.
The pair were found in Lynn near State Street around 11:45 a.m. The boy had been taken around 8:30 a.m.

Police said the father punched 3-year-old Kyrie Taylor's mother in Plymouth Wednesday morning and then kidnapped the child. Plymouth Police said the assault happened at Algonquin Terrace. Rosba Taylor, 25, then grabbed Kyrie and drove off.
Police asked the public for help, saying were looking older model Jeep Cherokee with a broken windshield. They warned Taylor could be armed.
Taylor was tracked to Lynn, where police pulled him over in a bank parking lot. Officers found Kyrie, safe, and Taylor was taken into custody.
Taylor has been charged with parental kidnapping and assault.
Rosba Taylor has connections to Lynn, but police did not going into details.
