HAVERHILL, Mass. – Police chased a vehicle from Haverhill up to New Hampshire after the driver allegedly fired shots at police officers.
The initial incident happened on I-495, and eventually the driver got onto I-93 north where speeds reached above 100 miles per hour before the driver got onto Route 111 and crashed.

State police and Haverhill police were involved in the chase.
One person was taken into custody after the crash, but a second person took off foot from the scene.
Several departments are involved in the search for the suspect who ran from the scene of the crash.
Police told Boston 25 News they have established a tight perimeter and have a description of the suspect they are looking for.
