One Boston Day 2018

One Boston Day was created to honor the resiliency, generosity and strength shown by the people of Boston and those around the world in response to the April 15, 2013 Marathon Tragedy.

Each year on April 15, organizations, individuals and businesses rally for a day of service to celebrate the generosity of the Boston community. It’s a chance to pay it forward with a simple act of kindness or share community connections. From service opportunities to performances, here are a few ideas.

Boston Strong Blood Drive: Join Boston 25 and the Red Cross on Sunday, April 15, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Boston Hotel, 39 Dalton Street. For an appointment visit redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code BOSTONSTRONG or call 1-800- RED CROSS (733-2767).

Choose Your Way To Volunteer: In the 26.2 days leading up to One Boston Day, Boston Cares will post daily about the creative and inspiring ways volunteers respond to community needs. Help them tell these stories! Share how you volunteer with a photo and message using the hashtags  #MilesofGood and #OneBostonDay. Check out Boston Cares' #MilesofGood live feed or sign up for future volunteer dates at Boston Cares.
