MELTING BEFORE MORE SNOW
Sunshine will return briefly Thursday with highs in the upper 30s.
Friday morning will start dry, but unsettled weather will return in the afternoon and evening with peak snowfall expected at night. Early estimates look like 4-7″ north of the Mass Pike with 2-4″ accumulation south of the Pike. Southeastern Massachusetts may see less due to mixing and milder temperatures. Additional light (low impact) snow will continue Saturday morning, too.
WATCHING YET ANOTHER
Various computer models continue to show another storm forming Sunday to Monday. This one will intensify offshore. The track will be south of New England. Best estimate is for plowable snow in southeastern Massachusetts, but it is early. Some models make it a total miss, others a full snowstorm. Stay tuned!
