SNOW AND RAIN TODAY
We woke up to a wintry scene across the interior this morning, especially in the higher elevations where we saw 7-9″ of snow! If you’re hitting the roads, take it slow—slippery conditions are possible, especially on untreated surfaces.
It’s a different story closer to the coast where we’ve had a chilly rain. It stays cloudy, cooler, breezy, with some drizzle at times through the afternoon with highs hovering near 40°.
Looking ahead, more rain arrives tonight and continues through much of Sunday, especially for eastern Massachusetts where we could see up to 1.5″ of rain. Sunday will be another raw, chilly day with highs again stuck in the 40s.
NEXT WEEK
We finally dry out early Monday, and you’ll feel the difference right away—sunshine returns with highs climbing into the mid 60s. But don’t get too comfortable: another round of rain is on the way by Tuesday into Wednesday as a cold front approaches. Stay with us throughout the weekend as we track this unsettled weather!
