It’s the first full day of Fall, but it’s still feeling quite summery. Clouds will linger with some breaks of sunshine, highs reach 80 degrees and it will be on the humid side. A spot shower is possible, mainly across the interior...but most stay dry.
MORE RAIN ON THE WAY
A slow moving cold front arrives Friday. The heaviest rain will be draped across western Massachusetts in the morning, and slowly moves east throughout the day. Some thunderstorms are possible, we are monitoring for a few that could be strong to severe with some damaging wind. Ahead of the front, it’s going to be warm and humid with temperatures in the upper 70s. The front will stay parked over the coast through Saturday bringing the risk for more showers.
Rain could be slow to clear for the coast on Saturday. Eventually showers taper later in the day, that’s when we will start to see the temperatures and the humidity dropping a bit more. Sunday is the pick of the weekend! It isn’t going to be the brightest of days, but we will see the most dry time. Things are looking good for the Patriots game at Gillette stadium, you can watch that game here on Boston25!
