Rob Gronkowski no longer on Patriots injury report, focused on Vikings

As the season comes to a crucial point, teams will need their best players healthy.

Luckily for the Patriots, Rob Gronkowski is officially off the injury report after hurting his ankle and back earlier in the season.

“It’s huge to come back this week and start practicing, and being back on the field to start building that chemistry,” said Gronkowski. “We’re focused on the Vikings, and we just got to execute like we do every week to get prepared.”

The Patriots tight end is treating this game just like any other, and did not speak much in Wednesday’s press conference about the injury report.

“When you’re not out there all the time, when you get back, you want to build them together (practices)”, said Gronkowski. “Just to get your feet under you, get all the calls down so you feel confident out there.”

The Patriots are now hoping that Gronkowski can stay healthy in their attempt to beat the Vikings this Sunday at home, with kickoff set for 4:25 p.m., only on Boston 25.
