BOSTON — The Bruins will be on the road for the first week of play when the 2016-17 season begins.
The Bruins schedule was released Tuesday afternoon, highlighted by the home opener against the New Jersey Devils on October 20.
Columbus will host Boston in the season opener on Thursday, October 13 in the first of three straight road games for the Bruins. They'll travel to Toronto and Winnepeg before returning to TD Garden for the home opener.
Montreal visits TD Garden for the first time on October 22.
