Dedham — The Boston College Eagles dominate Florida State in Chestnut Hill on Friday night to win their third ACC game in a row.
The Eagles offense continues to roll putting up 35 pts or more for the third game in a row. And the BC defense has only given up 13 pts total in the last two games.
Against Florida State BC was led by their punishing ground game. The Eagles ran for 241 yards on 55 carries. Freshman A.J. Dillon led BC with 149 yards rushing on 39 carries with 1 Touchdown.
Boston College is the only FBS team to have freshman leading them in passing, rushing and receiving. Quarterback Anthony Brown, Runningback A.J. Dillon and Wide Receiver Kobay White are the three freshman. All three of them scored against Florida State.
This game for Boston College was the annual Red Bandana game celebrating and commemorating former BC Eagle Welles Crowther. Crowther was an equities trader known for saving at least a dozen lives during the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center, during which he lost his own life
