NORTON, Mass. — A woman will face a judge Thursday for her role in a fake hostage situation in Norton.
Police Wednesday arrested Alicia Mitchell and accused her of lying about being held hostage.
Police said they received a call about a man with a gun holding her and her three children hostage inside their East Main Street apartment.
Officers went to the apartment and found nothing suspicious. Police said Mitchell wasn’t even at her apartment when she called 911.
