BROCKTON, Mass. — Two men were charged Monday with fatally shooting a Brockton man in early June.

A Plymouth County Grand Jury charged Christopher T. Nogueria of Taunton and Andrew Tymek of Brockton with the murder of 21-year-old Anthony S. Baker.

One evening in June, Brockton Police received multiple calls for reports of a shooting on Arthur Street. After arriving at the scene, police found Baker lying unresponsive on the road. He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

During the investigation, police learned that the victim and Tymek had an ongoing feud between them. According to police, Baker was walking along Arthur Street on June 8 when a vehicle approached him. Baker allegedly threw a rock at the windshield which led to his murder. Investigators said Noguiera allegedly fired the shots at Baker while Tymek drove the car.

Both men were indicted on one count each of murder, unlawful possession of a firearm and more charges.

They will be arraigned in Superior Court at a later date that has not yet been announced.
