Police have identified human remains that were discovered on an Idaho property as the bodies of Joshua "J.J." Vallow and Tylee Ryan.
The two children's identities were confirmed after an autopsy was performed on both bodies, the East Idaho News reported.
"It is with heavy hearts that we now confirm that those remains have now been officially identified as those of J.J. Vallow and Tylee Ryan,” Rexburg police assistant chief Gary Hagen said in a statement.
Relatives had previously confirmed that the bodies found on Chad Daybell's property belonged to Vallow, 7, and Ryan, 17.
Daybell was previously arrested and charged with two felony counts of concealment or destruction of evidence. A preliminary court hearing is scheduled for July 1.
