INDIO, Calif. — Coachella announced Wednesday that The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia will perform as co-headliners in the slot Kanye West would have filled before dropping out.

The Weeknd has performed at Coachella three times, KTLA reported. Swedish House Mafia was already set to perform at Coachella. Swedish House Mafia collaborated with The Weeknd on his latest album, “Dawn FM” released in January, according to KTLA.
News broke on Monday that West would no longer be performing at this year’s Coachella. No reason has been given for his decision not to perform at the festival.
