BOSTON — A tree crashed down onto the front of a Dorchester home overnight as severe weather moved through the area.

"It was a big blast. Really loud, really scary," said Dennis White, who owns the Milton Avenue home with his sister. The tree ripped off part of the roof and landed on a van.

Thankfully, no one was hurt. White and his sister say they're in the process of hiring someone to clear the tree.
