PORTSMOUTH, NH — A teenager was allegedly caught taking explicit photos of female students at a New Hampshire high school.
Police said a parent first called June 13 to report suspicions that another student had taken an explicit photo of their daughter during school hours.
Officers investigated and learned the male teen would pretend to tie his shoe, putting his phone on the ground. He would then allegedly photograph an upskirt photos.

“We are in the beginning stages of processing some forensic evidence, both internally and some things we had to send out externally,” said Chief Robert Merner with the Portsmouth Police Department.
Officers so far have identified four victims, all of them juveniles. Police say the pictures were taken days before school let out for summer.

“Anytime we have a situation involving juveniles, especially school incidents, we take that very serious,” said Merner.

In a statement, the assistant superintendent told Boston 25 News, “the student [in question] was disciplined and removed from school. The case has been referred to the Portsmouth police department, and the school district is cooperating fully in the police investigation."
Police say criminal charges will be soon be following the district's disciplinary action.

Recently administrators at Portsmouth High School alerted district administration to a student who was caught engaging in disturbing activity. The student was disciplined and removed from school. The case has been referred to the Portsmouth Police Department, and the school district is cooperating fully in the police investigation. Due to privacy laws, no further information can be released at this time.
