NEW YORK (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The Statue of Liberty was evacuated on Friday following a security concern, FOX News reports.
The evacuation of the Statue of Liberty and Liberty Island happened just before 1 p.m. A sweep was being done of the monument by security officials on Friday afternoons.
