Southbridge man held without bail after allegedly dumping gas on cruiser, lighting it on fire

SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Southbridge Police say a man walked up to an unoccupied cruiser at the police station, dumped gasoline on it and lit then it on fire late Tuesday night.

The tip came into the FOX25 newsroom early Wednesday morning. Police confirm that the suspect is Arthur Burnham of Southbridge.

Officers say Burnham stood by and cheered while the cruiser burned. In cell phone video obtained by FOX25, a man can be heard laughing and yelling "It's on fire!" before he's arrested. Burnham can also be heard yelling "They're civil rights violators!" at the officers.
