UPTON, Mass. — Upton Police are investigating after human remains were found in a wooded area Saturday afternoon.
Police said a hunter found the skeletal remains off of Mendon Street. They are investigating the case as an unattended death.
A source told FOX25 that the remains were found near an informal trail that winds through this patch of forest.
State Police are assisting with the investigation. More information will be available Monday, according to the Upton Police.
