SAUGUS, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Signed memorabilia was taken from a local barbershop and the owner is devastated.
The owner of Barber Masters in Saugus is hoping that someone will recognize the suspect who is responsible for stealing from her shop. The owner of the barbershop is a single mother of two who works long hours to fulfill her dream.
In surveillance video, you are able to see a bold man break into the back door of the Saugus barbershop.
The shop's owner, Rebecca, said, "They pry open this door, walked in the first thing they do is look up at this camera rip it right off."
With a hoodie and his face covered, the suspect walks right into the shop and steals thousands of dollars worth of sports memorabilia, including a signed jersey from Tom Brady and another from Paul Pierce.
Rebecca opened up the shop about three years ago, and her family helped her dreams come true by giving her the memorabilia.
She says well over $6,000 worth of jersey's stolen. Her family collected them over the years and wanted her to have them.
Anyone with information is asked to call Saugus police.
