Second arrest made in connection with fatal shooting of Mattapan grandmother

BOSTON — A 23-year-old Roxbury man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a Mattapan woman, Boston Police said on Friday.

Back in April, 74-year-old Eleanor Maloney was killed after she was shot while sitting on her front porch when a gunfight broke out on the street.

Dane Henry is the second person to be arrested in connection with this incident. Anthony Davis, 37, of Mattapan was arrested shortly after the triple shooting. Davis was Maloney's own grandson.

Officials said Henry was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon (Gun), and Manslaughter.

He will be arraigned in Dorchester District Court on Monday.
