Report: Chad Johnson found guilty of domestic battery in 2000

Days after Chad Johnson was arrested on allegations of domestic assault, a new report is bringing to light the former Miami Dolphins wide receiver's criminal history.

According to TMZ, Johnson was found guilty of misdemeanor domestic battery in 2000. A source tells TMZ that Johnson's former girlfriend claims he slapped her in the face after he accused her of cheating.

Johnson was reportedly ordered to serve 45 days in L.A. County Jail, but he struck a deal allowing him to do community service in lieu of jail time.

The couple's VH1 show, "Ev and Ocho" was cancelled and the Miami Dolphins released Johnson after he was arrested on Saturday for allegedly head-butting his wife, "Basketball Wives" star Evelyn Lozada.
