Boston firefighter charged with indecent assault of a child

A Boston firefighter was arraigned in Quincy District Court on Wednesday after being charged with indecent assault of a child.

Kevin Harrison, of Randolph, pleaded not guilty to two counts of indecent assault and battery on a person over 14 and one count of open and gross lewdness.

Assistant District Attorney Rita Muse asked the court to impose a $5,000 cash bail as long as he complies with an order to stay away from and have no contact with the alleged victim, anyone under 18, and complies with any orders by the Department of Children and Families.

Harrison was released on his own personal recognizance. He's due back in court on Oct. 21.
