1 dead after double shooting in Dorchester

DORCHESTER, Mass. — According to Boston Police, one person has died after a double-shooting in Dorchester on Saturday evening.

Just after 5 p.m., officials responded to the area of 49 Withington Street where they observed two people who had been shot. Both were transported to local hospitals, one with life-threatening injuries and one with non-life-threatening injuries.

Boston Police also recovered a firearm when responding to the incident.
