Police: Man found with cocaine near Wareham High School

WAREHAM, Mass. — Wareham Police arrested a man who was found near a school with crack cocaine, according to Wareham Police Chief John Walcek.

An officer arrested Rory Barrows Junior, 20, of New Bedford, around 9:45 a.m. Monday in the area of Viking Drive, near Wareham High School.

Walcek said the officer found Barrows with the cocaine while investigating a report of a suspicious person in the area.

Barrows is charged with intent to distribute a Class "B" drug and possession with intent to distribute near a school.
