WEBSTER, Mass. — Police in Webster are searching for a man they believed fired gunshots at a home Wednesday morning.

At 7:30 a.m., Webster Police say they were called to Robinson Street for reports of gunshots. When police arrived, they found the back of a home on Lake Street was hit twice by bullets.

Residents were asked to avoid the area and nearby Saint Joseph's School was placed in a "soft lockdown" where classes continued but access to and from the building was limited. Park Avenue Elementary was also notified, but the schools have since resumed normal operations.

No injuries were reported.

Police are now looking for a white or light-skinned man, approximately 5'8" to 6'0 tall. He was last seen wearing a black hooded parka-style jacket, dark pants, and sneakers.
