Police investigating after officer-involved shooting in Manchester, NH

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire — Police in Manchester are investigating after one of their own was caught in a shooting on Thursday night.

The officer-involved shooting happened at around 9:20 p.m.in the area of Flaherty Lane and Hecker Street.

Neither the police officers nor the suspect sustained serious injuries.

The suspect was transported to a local hospital after sustained a small injury, likely from shattered glass or other shrapnel.

The area was closed off for cars and pedestrians while investigators did an initial sweep of the scene.

Authorities have confirmed there is no threat to the public at this time.
