RYE, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire police and emergency responders are investigating the body of a man found in the water just north of Rye Harbor State Park.
The Portsmouth Herald reports (http://bit.ly/JPpLvX ) the body was found at about 10 a.m. Tuesday. Police Chief Kevin Walsh says the victim is a local man in his mid-50s. His name has not been released.
Police are on site photographing the scene at the beach alongside Ocean Boulevard.
