FRANKLIN COUNTY, Maine — Maine has its first confirmed case of measles in 20 years.
The state said that last reported case of the Measles was in 1997.
The state epidemiologist says the Maine CDC is working with clinicians to identify people who were exposed to the ill person.
The person was at the following locations between June 15 and 19, and those who were there at the same time should contact their doctors, reports WGME.

- Grantlee's Tavern and Grill in Farmington June 15, 7 - 11 p.m.
- Farmington Farmers Market in Farmington June 17, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- The Kingfield Woodsman in Kingfield June 18, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- Restaurant la Chocolaterie in Lac-Megantic, Quebec, Canada June 18, 12 - 4 p.m.
- Franklin Memorial Hospital Emergency Department June 18, 8 - 10:30 p.m.
- Franklin Memorial Hospital Laboratory June 19, 12 - 2:30 p.m.
The Associated Press says this case of measles is related to the person's travel. Further details were not released.
Measles is a vaccine-preventable disease that is airborne. It can cause flu like symptoms and a rash all over the body. Incubation period can last anywhere from 10 to 21 days.
WCSH-TV reports there are currently no other cases of measles in the state, according to the CDC.
