PD: Leominster teen arrested for bringing ammunition to school

LEOMINSTER, Mass. — A 17-year-old has been arrested after police say he brought ammunition to school.

Leominster Police say they were called to Leominster High School after a student reported the incident.

Police say a 17-year-old student was arrested for illegal possession of ammunition at the school. A firearm was confiscated later at his home.

Leominster Police say no threats were made toward any school and they are confident the firearm was never in any school.

No additional information was released.
