BROOKLINE, Mass — A building facade collapsed in Brookline early Tuesday morning, making it the second significant collapse in the area since September.
The facade of the Taam China building on Harvard Street partially collapsed in the early morning, but more of the facade fell away as crews worked to stabilize the building.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported in this incident. That makes two lucky escapes as both building's facades collapsed right onto the sidewalk in the morning hours surrounding rush hour.

It’s unknown what caused the collapse, but officials have theorized the corrosion of the material due to weather could be to blame. It wasn't immediately clear who was responsible for inspecting the facade of the building.
The city's inspectional services did not immediately return a call from Boston 25 News.
