MANCHESTER, NH — The parents of a 20-month-old who passed away last week have been arrested.
Manchester police said the parents, Joshua Garvey, 31 and Christen Gelinas, 33, were arrested Tuesday night in Windham and charged with four counts of possession with intent to distribute. Garvey was also charged with violation of bail conditions.
Last Friday, the child was taken to the hospital in distress and later passed away. Wednesday afternoon, police said that child had ingested a baggie with a white powder substance before he died.

Following the child's death, police executed a search warrant at 473 Hevey St. and said they found 28.1 grams of heroin, 11.8 grams of cocaine, 15.3 grams of crack cocaine and three suboxone strips inside of the apartment, which have an estimated street value of over $5,400.
The parents are scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday afternoon.
The child's death is still under investigation.
