Kevin Hayden was sworn in as the Suffolk County District Attorney on Tuesday. The move comes after former Suffolk County DA Rachael Rollins was sworn in as the U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts.

A veteran of the office he now leads, DA Hayden has devoted himself to leading community-based violence prevention outreach and programming, and I'm confident he is well-equipped to serve. pic.twitter.com/wqXpBvzBj8
Gov. Baker says Hayden “has devoted himself to leading community-based violence prevention outreach and programming.”
DA Hayden will serve out the remainder of DA Rollins’ term, through Nov. 8 of this year.
