BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Major League Baseball has put new security procedures into effect across the league, including at Fenway Park.
MLB teamed with the Department of Homeland Security to make sure each and every fan that enters Fenway or any other stadium undergoes some sort of metal detection. At Fenway, security will use a metal detection wand and will continue to do bag checks.
The security procedures may slow down the lines at the gates, so all fans should arrive a little earlier than usual.
Fans coming to the game should also know that any bag brought into the park must be 16 inches x 16 inches x 18 inches or smaller. All water bottles, which must be sealed, can only be 16 ounces or smaller.
