Boston Police picked up the Great Pyrenees Wednesday morning in Hyde Park and brought him to MSPCA's Angell Animal Medical Center in Jamaica Plain.
Staff says the pup is a male, about five to seven years old, neutered and friendly. He isn't microchipped and was not wearing an ID collar.
For now, he is safe and warm at the animal hospital until they can find his owner.
