Monica Lewinsky joins Twitter, announces her mission to end cyber-bullying

(MyFoxBoston.com) -- Former White House intern Monica Lewinsky joined Twitter and announced her mission to end cyber-bullying on Monday.

The former mistress of Bill Clinton announced during a speech for Forbes inaugural "30 Under 30" summit in Philadelphia that she planned to launch a "cultural revolution" against the type of harassment that she received in the late 1990s, Forbes.com reported. Lewinsky reportedly referred to herself as "patient zero" and as "the first person to have their reputation completely destroyed worldwide via the Internet."

Lewinsky reportedly said that she hopes to share her story of online harassment and cyber bullying to help others cope.

Lewinsky also joined Twitter today, announcing her arrival with the hashtag #HEREWEGO.
